the accidentally vegan
it always pays off to spend some time in the supermarket to see if you can find some new vegan treats. the other day i discovered awesome crispy chocolate thins and dark chocolate with whole hazelnuts (at the Zielpunkt around the corner). all vegan, all good.
vegan baking contest. we won a category!!
so, Team Vegan decided to enter Festkakao’s baking contest, ended up making a Oreo Cream filled and frosted cake and WON THE CATEGORY “AWESOMENESS”. we think we rule!

when vegans eat out pt. 7: restaurant p'aa in Linz
Team Vegan and friends took a little day trip to Linz, attended a neat party, organized by Tupalo and The Gap, and went to p’aa for dinner AND lunch the next day.
the restaurant is conveniently located off the main square in the inner district in a cute little side street.

sunday lunch: pizza red white and green
store bought dough (Spar’s is vegan), tomato sauce, tofutti’s block of mozzarella, fresh oregano & basil, a mountain of arugula and some vegan parmesan. glorious!

Vitamin D can be a big pain in the neck, 8 out of 10 times it seems to come straight from our friends, the sheep, and 9 out of 10 brands of margarine seem to contain vitamin d/ lanolin. personally i like margarine on bread for breakfast and i am constantly searching for the perfect margarine to bake and to make butter cream frosting with.
