stuff i brought home from Amsterdam

vegan gossip: this and that
Formosa, our favourite mock meat pusher, has added a few new dishes to their menu! We tried the ham fried rice (pic) and sampled the vegetable lasagna (delicious!)
as reported by a vegan scout, a new restaurant is opening in our hood, 1070. we will keep you posted but we are expecting and hoping for asian/american fast food and desserts. excited!

I woke up quite refreshed on our second day, Saturday, in Amsterdam and was ready to get some breakfast. We picked Bagels & Beans, a franchise, for some coffee and, well, bagels and were greeted by a sign announcing they were now serving soy milk. alRIGHT!
