when vegans eat out: Loving Hut
The Loving Hut (doesn’t that name just crack you up?) opened its sect-y glass doors a few days ago and Team Vegan went to check out the light and friendly looking ALL VEGAN spot. The ‘Hut looks very much like an American fast food joint and offers a pretty international cuisine, with an emphasis on Asian (Kung Pao Chickn), Austrian (Schnitzel) and American (Burgers) dishes. We sampled some of them, had overpriced smoothies and got free desserts.
The location is very central but the view (busy main street) is not ideal, there’s a nice garden in the back if you don’t mind people from the houses around staring down at you. We are annoyed by the Supreme Master’s omnipresence, check out the ridiculous poem on the heart shaped signage, but you gotta figure out your stance on sect-flavoured food for yourselves. We tend to mock the message but eat the mock meat! We’ll be back to sample the kebap, burger, mock sea food and eat some more of that delicious chocolate cake.
In the meantime, here’s the pictures:
