you say tomayto, i say tomahto!

don’ t let the fact that i spend minutes scraping seeds out of tomatoes fool you: i LOVE tomatoes, they are actually one of my favourite things about summer. they taste great and just like vegans they come in all colours and shapes!
i purchased these beauties from a friendly lady at the farmers market (on Naschmarkt), that let me sample most of the tomatoes she sold. when i mentioned that i liked the lemon-shaped, pretty yellow fruits, she told me matter of factly, “oh, those are called little breasts of venus.” well, alright then!

i had some drizzled with fragrant greek balsamico, some cut into a creamy pasta salad. YUM!
