when vegans eat out pt. 9: antuns bio bar
Antun’s Bio Bar moved to its location at Drahtgasse a few years ago and so far, whenever i wanted to check out the place, i ended up standing in front of closed doors. the other night we managed to grab some dinner, though. and, oh my, it was worth the wait. Antun serves delicious Hausmannskost (home cooking) made with fresh ingredients and love.

we started with some “bio bar bruschetta” with soy cheese and smoked tofu.

here’s a close-up.

beef steak with fried onions, mash and horse radish

cordon bleu

the bio bar is a little on the pricey side (main courses from 9 to 15 EUR) but the food is delicious and the portions are plenty. service was really great, too.
