we didn’t get the chance to sample it yet, since they were out when we stormed into the place. let’s hope that means it’s a big seller & will stay in stock!

A new addition to the Lena & Laurenz menu: Jonas’ SmOrre consists of dark bread w/ peanut butter, smoked tofu, avocado, pear, tomatoes and sesame seeds. YUM! the pear smoked tofu-combination really works for me!
At € 3,90 a piece Jonas will be a rare guest in my house, though.
you must have noticed by now that i like quick and easy meals, this no-fuss version of a no-egg salad is no exception. great on any sort of bread; i picked tramezzini bread and had the sandwiches with a side of chips.
how:
mash a block of firm tofu, add circa 3 tablespoons of your favourite soyanaise, one tablespoon of mustard, 3 pickles, two pinches of tumeric, salt & pepper to taste, stir like crazy and voila!
i also like to call this Frakk-salad, and yes, that’s a Battlestar Galactica-reference.
